Mary MacKillop in Portland

The pages that follow trace the life of Mary MacKillop as a young woman between the years 1862 and 1866. During this period Mary MacKillop was both a governess and schoolteacher. This story looks at Mary's life before she founded the Josephite nuns and devoted her life to the Catholic Church.

The Mary MacKillop in Portland story was developed by Sr. Mary Coman RSJ of the Mary MacKillop Centre, Portland and produced by Australian Museums OnLine (AMOL)
