Army Museum of New South Wales
The museum is housed in the 1848 built district Military Prison within the classified heritage precinct of Victoria Barracks. The exhibition spaces are the former exercise yards and six of the prison cells. The collection storage is in the remainder of the cells. The collection focus is army military heritage in New South Wales.
Collections
Medal Collection 1814 to 1975, Uniform Collection 1885 to 1990, Badge Collection 1870 to 1990. Memorabilia from the Sudan Expedition, Anglo-Boer War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War as well as some from the periods in between. There are also some small arms and edge weapons, art works and a photograph collection.
