Description:

Pastel coloured woollen sample pieces machine sewn together in a simple slat design. The arrangement of pieces on both sides of this quilt appear to have been chosen carefully. It is possible either side could be used as the top. 1730 x 1220mm

Story of Quilt:

This quilt is one of a collection of quilts known as 'The Running Stitch Collection', donated to the National Wool Museum in 1989 by the Running Stitch Group (Barbara Macey, Lois Densham, Susan Denton and Jan Ross-Manley).
