The Museum & Gallery Services Qld workshop, Securing Funding: writing grant applications, developing partnerships and sourcing funding will be held in Gladstone, 29 & 30 March 2007.
This is the opportunity in 2007 for museums, galleries, historical societies and other cultural heritage organisations in Central Queensland to attend such a workshop.
The workshop will include an introduction to funding models and structures, and tips for:
· designing a project
· finding the right grant for your project
· creating a budget
· keeping up to date with grants programs
Funding bodies, including Arts Queensland, Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), and the National Library of Australia, will speak about their funding programs, as well as philanthropic funding expert, Linda Griffith, and the parties involved in a successful Gladstone-based corporate-community partnership.
One-on-one interviews will be available both days to all participants with Linda Griffith, and representatives from the funding bodies mentioned above.
Cost: $30-00 (inc. GST) inclusive of learning materials, morning and afternoon teas and lunches, and evening social function.
